Mr. Chili Champ!
Tonight our church had it's annual
Halloween Party, Trunk or Treat...
AND Chili Contest...
My honey has been perfecting his "SECRET" recipe for probably 17 years now - and he came up with this one all on his own...
Well tonight he brought home the all-mighty Championship Apron!
WOO-HOO!!!
Congratulations Kurt for your award winning "fabricante de pedo" Chili!

Coming Soon...
With the class on board such a great hit...
I've decided to do a weekly sketch challenge!
I will be posting a sketch each week...
and then I will pick a few layouts to post for each sketch...
This will be fun!
And it will get our scrapbooking done...
One page at a time!
Check Monday for the first sketch...

Sketch Class with a Twist!
One of the classes I taught on the ship was a "Sketch" Layout Class
But this one had a little twist...
I kinda liked it!
I gave everyone a homework assignment
And then we went step by step to create a layout...
The twist was that although everyone was using essentially the same layout -
Everyone's page looked completely different!
Here's the layout that everyone used:
(I got this sketch from www.pencillines.com)
And here is what some of the pages looked like after they were done:
Mary's - Kona Coffee
Tammy's - Lazer Tag
Elaine's - Garden Girl
She actually turned it into a two page spread
Stephanie's - Puppy Love
Diane's - Totem Pole
Kathy's - Heritage
Dora's - Student of the Year
Kathy's - Showgirls
Nancy's - Talia
I liked this class alot!
It was fun and I enjoyed seeing each pages "personality" emerge!

Cruise Wrap-Up
Hello All!
What a FABULOUS Weekend!
So much fun! I had a blast!
Met some really great people and
bonded more with my scrappin' friends!
To start off...
This is what a stack of 52 completed scrapbook pages look like:
That's how many pages I finished...
Not the 84 I had kitted, but still alot accomplished!
Here's a show n tell of the weekend:
Elaine all ready to go!
Poor Nancy was squished in the back seat will all the luggage...
Muster Station Drill...just in case the boat sinks, we are ready!
At dinner:
Stephanie & Dora
Mary with a very interesting hat!
Kathy looking very pretty...
Tammy having too much fun!
Elaine - do you want some Lipton?
The cute couple - Rebecca & Will
PJ Party -
The Divas
The Green Foggies
The Pink Bow Girls
The Sleeping Beauties (Nancy & Elaine - I have jammies to match - but I'm taking the picture!)
The whole group
Out on deck...yes - I'm actually out on the deck! Of course Rebecca had to drag me out there, walking backwards!
Well...again...so much fun! I can't wait until 2009! But next time - 7 days!
gotta go take a nap now...
